Terms of use

These terms apply to the Vault Notes app and this website, by DM Web Services (the Netherlands). By using the app you agree to them.

Beta

Vault Notes is in development. Features may change, stop working for a while or disappear. Do not rely on the app as your only record of something important.

Recording people

You are responsible for recording lawfully. In many places, and in many professions, you need the consent of the people you record. Ask for it.

Transcripts and summaries

Speech recognition and summaries are made by AI models on your phone. They can contain mistakes, miss words or attribute speech to the wrong person. Check anything you act on.

Your notes

Your notes are yours and stay on your phone. Because we do not have a copy, we cannot restore them if the phone is lost, reset or the app is removed.

Payment

Pro is bought through Google Play. Google Play's terms and cancellation rules apply. Prices are shown in the app and in Google Play before you buy.

Open models

The app downloads open AI models (Whisper, Qwen2.5 or Llama 3.2) that come with their own licences, including the Llama 3.2 Community License.

Liability

We do our best to make the app work well and keep your data safe, but cannot promise it is free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or for lost notes.

Changes and law
